A search for a missing autistic California boy has become more frantic as it enters its fourth day Wednesday.
Terry Dewayne Smith, 11, was last seen Saturday near his Menifee home around 7:30 p.m. His 16-year-old stepbrother saw the boy, who goes by the nickname ?Juju,? before bedtime. But come Sunday morning, the boy was missing, and police were called to the family home. Since, more than a thousand volunteers have spread out over an 81-mile radius in an intense search for the missing boy.

Temperatures have reached 100 degrees over the last few days, so volunteers, who have scoured miles of California brush, are working all the harder.
?We really want to find him. We know he?s tired, so we?re gonna keep going until he?s found,? search volunteer Julia Rogoff told KTLA-TV.

Police taking part in the search have been in contact with registered sex offenders in the area but announced no leads Tuesday. Foul play was not originally thought to be involved, but by Wednesday, forensic experts had blocked off the area around the boy?s Helen Lane home and were searching for clues there.
Human remains were reportedly found on that property around 1 a.m. Wednesday, the Press-Enterprise reported, but no further details were announced and no arrests have been made.

A Facebook page, which now has more than 22,000 ?likes,? was created to update volunteers and those concerned about the boy.
?We are still hopeful that we are going to find Terry,? a post Wednesday read as news of the police investigation spread. ?We are continuing our search in the Sycamore Creek area, and the best thing we can do is continue to post flyers and look for him.?
